Ayurveda: a form of holistic alternative medicine that is the traditional system of medicine of India. Ayurveda looks at the whole human being – body, mind and soul. Optimal health and well being require the three to be in balance, and Ayurveda allows us to find and treat imbalances at the root through diet and lifestyle changes, the use of herbs, oils, essentialoils, cleansing practices (Pancha Karma), marma points, asanas (yoga postures), breathing practices and more. Some imbalances will require a whole regimen, others may simply require diet changes. During a consultation Helgrid will also educate you about basics of Ayurveda and how to apply them to your daily life.

Yoga has been practiced in India for more than 6000 years, and although it’s roots are ancient and mystical, every “body” can do Yoga.
Yoga restores the body’s balance through postures (asanas), breathing practices (Pranayam), meditation techniques and more, and is a profound stress management tool. 80% of all disease are stress related, and Yoga Therapy has proven to be extremely effective in allowing the body and mind to get back in balance.
